Leading low fare airline launch Croatia route for Summer ‘09
Low fare airline Jet2.com have launched another destination from its base at Newcastle Airport; flights to Croatia started this May and brings the total number of routes available from Newcastle to 13.
The residents of the North East are now within easy reach of the beautiful Adriatic Coast with flights now on sale from just £56.99 one way, including taxes to the beautiful city of Split, Croatia.

Split is the main city in the region of Dalmatia and the largest city on the Croatian Adriatic coast. The city emerged from a Greek settlement and is famously known as the location the Roman Emperor Diocletian, who ordered a palace to be built for his retirement. It was ten years in the making and Diocletian resided in Split until his death in 313 AD.
